Apollo: Form Meets Function
Their flagship commercial robot, Apollo, is designed specifically for ease of manufacturing. Instead of relying on bespoke, ultra-expensive components, Apptronik utilizes off-the-shelf and highly modular parts. This approach drastically lowers the bill of materials, paving the way for a sub-$50,000 humanoid.
Mercedes-Benz Partnership
Proving their commercial viability, Apptronik has entered an agreement with Mercedes-Benz to deploy Apollo units in their automotive manufacturing facilities, focusing heavily on delivering parts to the assembly line and automating low-skill, physically demanding tasks.
